This app is a must-have for the resistance. I had to knock this down to 4 stars because the share on Facebook is too gimmicky. Theres no direct link to the videos. Viewers are directed to download the app in order to view the video. That is not sharing. That is advertising. Once thats fixed Ill be very happy.

Some pages hang, unresponsive. But I like the up to the minute content which is credible and well metered despite the sensational title of the site.

I just downloaded this app and it refuses to open.

This update has ruined an app that I used to enjoy using. Changed from 5 Stars to 1 star only because zero stars not available. 1 list of news stories is now nearly impossible to use. Read a story and you cannot easily get back to where you were on the list. Always takes you back to the top of the list. 2 list of news stories does not include a lot of headlines making it easy to choose a story to read, like it used to. 3 didnt get rid of any disgusting advertising. Please dispose of this upgrade in the closet trash can!

I thoroughly enjoyed checking Red Flag each evening for new comments, that is until this latest update. The content takes forever to load, and more often than not crashes. I am so displeased with this, I have decided to delete the app totally and go straight to the website.

The new update is terribly slow and ultimately does not enable me to read the articles.

I loved this app and found it great to share on Twitter. Was one of the top users above 50 thousand. Why did they mess it up?? What a crime.

The old version would have been an update to this update. To slow. My ADD cant wait for pages to load.

Ive added one more star because I pretty much like the new design. However, there are still some issues that if corrected would make the app nearly perfect. Number one, Ive lost all of my favorites and thats pretty upsetting. Number two, I cant add articles to my favorites. There is no Heart <3 in the usual position to add it to my favorites and I would really like to see this come back. It makes it so much easier to find articles I want to refer back to in the future. I havent been able to add any since the updates. This was one of my favorite features of RFN. Hoping for a soon-coming solution. As I normally read RFN more than any other news. (Ive even donated).

I am very thankful for my this app. Its difficult to get the facts about what is going on in our country and the world and believe this is a critical time for the USA and it is our responsibility to pay attention, ask ourselves questions, know the Constitution, and speak up to our families, neighbors, community, leaders, etc.

Cant open stories, hard to scan through now, movies dont play. The app maker is constantly begging for money through fundraising despite tons of ads that are on every story. Its useful for keeping up with stuff but clunky.

Update 3: some minor improvements have been made but the links to original articles still dont work and the developers are still only interested in $$. The app is very advertising heavy and additional pleas for donations are annoying. The story headlines are nearly always sensational (the world is ending tomorrow!) and just designed as "click and bait" for additional ad $$. I currently have notifications turned on (the sensationalism is hilarious) was rarely ever click through. Dont waste your time with this nonsense... Update: this app was so bad (and advertising $$ greedy) that I deleted it even after patiently waiting 6-months for some improvements. Now I reinstalled it and am giving you another chance to see if youre going to take user complaints seriously... Old Review: This app has so many bugs its impossible to use efficiently. The "read more" links DoNT function properly (they dont want you ever leaving the app, clearly). Sharing articles is so cumbersome its useless. Push notifications feed off FAR right sensationalism. --> Worse is, there is constant begging to contribute money "in order to keep the app up and running"... even though the app is 3/4 ADVERTISING to begin with!

The links to the actual articles dont work. You only get to read the short snippet RFN gives you. I guess the rest you just take for granted.

It wants to connect to your Twitter, Facebook and whatever else; asks for your birthday to see an article, wants to send notifications, use your location, etc. and there is no way to open an article in your browser (safari). This is all funny since most people whom read red flag probably hate the government tracking surveillance police state! Tip. Check out drudge. Check out infowars. Lots of better news apps out there than this POS.

Ive gone through four different app versions and they have progressively gotten worse and more bloated with each version. It takes forever to load if it does at all and refreshes will one is attempting to read. I truly understand the need for advertisers and sponsors but this is ridiculous. Not one of your links work either. Im finished with your news feed until you fix things.

Nothing but ads. Gratuitous ads. Full page ads pop up, mid-story making it impossible to finish the story (stuff like "You just won whatever, click "ok" to claim your prize). Whats worse is this apps disgusting tactic of posting an enticing headline but clicking the link for the story takes you to an advertisement. There isnt a story, just a full page advertisement. Despicable!! The stories they do post are, mostly, crazy conspiracy nonsense. Nope, this aint for me!!
